Who we are 私たちについて
6okkenは、河口湖・大石の6棟の家を拠点にした、アーティスト・ラン・レジデンスです。現代美術、建築、写真、デザイン、編集。領域の違う8人が、ここに住みながら運営しています。2022年の発足から、滞在制作の受け入れ、アートプロジェクト、合宿型のワークショップ、地域や大学との協働を続けてきました。
6okken is an artist-run residency based in six houses in Oishi, on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchi. Eight members, across contemporary art, architecture, photography, design and editing, run it together. Since 2022 we have hosted residencies, organised art projects and camp-style workshops, and worked with the region and its universities.

RESIDENTSこれまでに22カ国、50人を超えるアーティストが滞在してきました。年に一度のイベントには、国内外から延べ150人ほどが集まります。

A solidarity of artists 態度による連帯
私たちは"アーティスト"を、"自らが手放せばこの世から消えてしまう視点や動機に、向き合い続ける態度"と定義してみます。職業は関係ありません。
この態度は、生き方を支えるものです。そして、互いに影響を与えあい、更新を繰り返すものでもあります。作品や制作活動、そして表現の分野すら超えて、その人の生き方そのもので社会と接続する。"アーティスト"による連帯を、経済的・社会的に持続可能な形で拡げていくことを目指します。
We define an "artist" as an attitude, the attitude of staying with the viewpoints and motivations that would vanish from this world if let go. Profession has nothing to do with it.
This attitude carries a life. It is also shaped between people, renewed again and again. Beyond artworks, beyond practice, beyond fields of expression, it connects a person to society through the way they live itself. Our aim is to grow this solidarity of artists in a form that can sustain itself, economically and socially.

Kunitachi Art Center 〈i'm-air-port〉
「学ぶ」をテーマに国立のまち全体がアートでつながる16日間の芸術祭。6okkenは駅前に"誰でも座れる線"を設置しました。
A 16-day festival connecting the whole town of Kunitachi through art, under the theme of learning. 6okken installed a line anyone can sit on, right in front of the station.

山口みいなによるワークショップ企画。第3回は株式会社ネオン企画、SAIKONEONと共同開催しました。
A workshop camp led by Miina Yamaguchi. Vol.3 was co-hosted with Neon Kikaku and SAIKONEON.
6okken芸術祭 "ダイロッカン"
後援: 山梨県。18名のアーティストによる14日間の滞在制作と、2日間のフェスティバル。
Dairokkan: fourteen days of residency by eighteen artists, closing with a two-day festival. Supported by Yamanashi Prefecture.

参加コレクティブとして、会場設計／キュレーション／イベントを含む複合企画を熱海市内で開催しました。
